DRISCOLL, Daniel Arthur

Daniel Arthur Driscoll, 27, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 2, 2014 after a long and courageous battle. He was surrounded by his devoted family. Danny was the cherished and beloved son of Arthur and Donna Driscoll of Palm Beach Gardens and beloved brother of Lauren Driscoll of West Palm Beach. He also leaves his Grandfather, Grandmothers, 6 Aunts, 6 Uncles, and 15 Cousins from Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Georgia, California, and Florida. Danny was a 2005 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Miami School of Business. Danny was born in Beverly, Massachusetts. He lived in New Hampshire, Illinois, and Texas before moving to Florida in 1998. Danny was an avid reader, always staying on top of current news. He could remember facts that would have won him millions on Jeopardy. He particularly loved politics and made sure to have well researched opinions on every topic. He would never be one to force his views on someone else; he was extremely diplomatic. Danny was very active as a child. He played just about every team sport at least once in his life. Danny's passion for sports included his diehard loyalty to the South Florida sports teams the, including the Miami Dolphins, the Marlins, the Heat, and especially the University of Miami Hurricanes. Danny was also a big fan of the Premier Soccer League, with the Manchester United as "his team." He loved hanging out with his friends, attending concerts and discovering new music, singing karaoke, playing scrabble, and going out to meet new people. He enjoyed the simple things life had to offer, like a cup of coffee and lazy conversation with his sister. He binge watched just about every "cult following" TV show with his parents for the past three years. He loved trying new things, especially when it came to food. Danny is an inspiration to all. He taught us there is no obstacle you cannot overcome without strength and bravery. He taught us to love without condition and that there is no bond stronger than family. He was, and always will be, our hero. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel A. Driscoll Memorial Education Fund Account, c/o Chase Bank or Giveforward.com. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 9th, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Hwy 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A funeral Mass led by Father William D. O'Shea will be celebrated on Monday November 10th at 10:00AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Rd, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.
