Family-Placed Obituary

DEVONDE H. DYER Mr. Dyer, age 77, of Boynton Beach, died Saturday morning, March 13, 2010. He had lived in this area for the past 47 years coming from Lancaster, PA. Mr. Dyer was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division; Boynton Beach Lodge #236, F&AM; Lake Worth Scottish Rite; and the Amara Shrine Temple. Mr. Dyer is survived by his wife Jean F. Dyer; two sons Scott D. (Sharon) Dyer of Atlantis, FL and Timothy M. Dyer of Tequesta, FL; two grandchildren, Christopher S. Dyer and Jennifer Michelle Dyer; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, with Pastor Harold Hendron of Faith United Methodist Church,Boynton Beach, officiating. I'm especially missing my Uncle Bunny this Easter. In his memory, I'll be treating myself to a coconut cream "Easter egg" smeared with peanut butter just as he taught me to do years ago at my grandmother's dining room table on Ross Street.
