I have known Dotty Ladd 36 years we worked together, not only she was a great co-worker but, a great friend. We always had lots of laughs, cries , & lots of fun. We used to go to jazzercise together with another great friend Barbara who passed away over 10 years ago. We were all a family at work in the 1980's, 90's right up til she retired from the city of Delray Beach Parks & Recreation Dept in 2001. The Dept is no longer the same anymore. Dotty used to come into my office regularly with lots of laughs, cries, & fun times. She was always there for me as I was for her. When the city started with computers in late 1980's I always helped her with the budget she ran the adult center which is now known as veterans park since named in early 1990's. She stopped in my office in January 2017 & said she wanted to take me out when I retired which was just 2 months ago March 31,2017 we just never made it. That's when I found out she was in the hospital & I went to see her & even then she still said we'd go out when she gets home. We still laughed even in the hospital. Dotty Ladd I will miss you always & forever & I'll always be grateful for helping me when my mom passed away 4 1/2 years ago & since then my dad not well because loss of my mom who is in a facility & will never go home. RIP MY DEAR FRIEND DOTTY LADD. I'll always remember all our fun times together!! Love & miss you you!! Xoxoxo I'm lighting a candle for you!! Again, RIP DOTTY LADD.
