Grampa, I'm glad we had such a good talk the last time we were visiting. I will treasure that conversation. Although I've only known you for seven years, you have always accepted me as family and I have loved you as my grandfather. You have left all of us with fond memories. I will miss you but in your honor I will not forget to laugh and love.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. Mr. Reist was one of the most warm, kind & gracious people I have ever known. He behaved with integrity always and LOVED his family very much. It was class that is rarely seen, and his beloved wife, children and grandchildren all have these very rare qualities. They always made me feel welcome. I know his generous spirit will surround you allways.Bless you all.

Mrs. Reist, Linda, Lauren, David, Michael, and the rest of the family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your father was a very special man and I am honored to have been able to be part of your family. We had shared many fun times growing up, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, you name it, we had a party for it, and everyone showed up and had lots of fun. These are memories that we can share. The last time I saw your father was at Jon and Angela's wedding and he was having a great time as we all were. He sure loved his family; he had the biggest smile when talking about his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I enjoyed listening to him when he spoke. He will be missed, but he left us all with many fond and loving memories.
Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
Love, Sharon, Phyllis and Katlyn

You were the greatest Father that anyone could ever hope to have...you shared in every joy, heartache, birth, death, and life event with all of your family members, and you did it with the constant solidity that you always displayed. Never wavering in your deep devotion and love to your children, you were the infallible rock that we learned we could depend upon. You revelled in our joys and felt pain in our sorrows. You were never inappropriate in anyway toward anyone and displayed the utmost respect to our friends. We learned so much of life having you as our Father and you were the parent that always loved to show us new experiences. Through you we learned to camp, fish, swim, dance, travel, drive, ski, picnic, do homework, and just about anything else you can think of. Most of our first experiences were because of the deep joy you had in living and now without you we must learn to continue with our lives. I really do not know how I will manage that, but I know in the depths of my soul that you will still be there watching over your children and your very large family. Dad, I am so very grateful for the life you gave me and that I have become the person that I hope my children will become someday, they have had an excellent role model in you and I will always have you to thank for that. We will never forget the love you gave so generously, working 2 and 3 jobs to provide for your family. We sure are lucky to have your neverending love shining down through the stars and you will never be forgotten, but most surely missed. With all my love forever to my very special Father, Your second daughter, Linda
