Estelle Cimis Obituary


Family-Placed Funeral Notice

ESTELLE CIMIS 93, passed away the last surviving dear sister of Carmenantonio and Angelo Colantuoni and Mary Manzi, Agnes Colabelli and Theresa Colabelli on Thursday December 9, 2004 in Hanover, NH. She was formerly a resident of Saddle Brook and Cranford, NJ and retired to Leisureville in Boynton Beach, FL, with her husband, George, who predeceased her in January of 1994. They were both active in the Leisureville New Jersey Club and was the founding member of the Legion of Mary at St. Thomas More's Parish in Boynton Beach. In November of 1997 she moved to Hanover, NH where she resided at The Greens on Lyme Road. She leaves her four sons and their families, George Cimis (Elaine) of Mahwah, NJ, Robert Cimis, MD (Sheila) of Enfield, NH, Eugene Cimis (Margaret) of Brick, NJ, and Lt. Col. Gerald Cimis, DMD (USAF ret.) (Beverly) of Prattville, AL; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, George and Stephen Cimis, Ellen Howard (David), Kathryn DeBiasse (Mark); Robert Cimis Jr. MD (Donna), Andrew Cimis (Michelle), Michael Cimis (Crista); Eugene and Darragh Cimis; Karey and Lauren DeShazo and six great-grandchildren David, Eric and Jennifer Howard of McKinney, TX, Lauren Cimis of Hillsboro, OH; and Michael Joseph and Alessandra Cimis of Hartford, VT. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by her family who were blessed with her caring presence for so many wonderful years. Visitation Sunday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT. A Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10 AM at St. Denis Church in Hanover, NH. Interment will be at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ following a memorial service at Immaculate Conception Church in Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hand Fund, St. Denis Church, 8 Sanborn Rd, Hanover, NH 03755 or Eternal World Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Rd, Irondale, AL 35210.
