EUGENE CECIL GARREN Eugene Cecil Garren, 89, of Satsuma, FL, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Satsuma, FL. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Weeks Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Andy Croft officiating. Dwayne Garren, Scott Garren, Tony Garren, Tommy Garren, James Morse, Michael Young will serve as pallbearers. Born December 1, 1921 in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late Edgar John Garren and Eloise Gertrude Perkins Garren. He was a retired Aircraft mechanic and a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jeanette Weeks Garren and five brothers, Earl, Ernest, Eddie, Edgar, and Emmitt Garren, and four sisters, Ellen Willes, Elizabeth Sherrfeld, Eunice Spicer, and Ethel Roberts Survivors include sons, Larry Garren and wife, Carolyn of Palm Harbor, FL, and Glen Garren and wife, Jocelyn of Satsuma, FL; daughters, Gwen Morse and husband, Delbert of Moultrie, GA, Brenda Young and husband, Albert of Bunell, FL; brother, Eric Garren and wife, Betty Jean of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Scott Garren, Stacey Greene, Dwayne Garren, Tony Garren, Tommy Garren, James Morse, April Morse, Albert Young, Jr., Michael Young; Fifteen great-grandchildren.
