I was one of the "kids" that Bart writes about above. Frank and Helen were my first employers when I was a young person at 15 years of age. Frank had such a warm, kind spirit and he was always open and supportive to all of us young employees who worked for him. I guess that is why many of us stayed with him for a lot of years. His restaurant at that time, Savoia, was a second home for us, which he and Helen made it that comfortable place for us to work...and play.

My thoughts and prayers are with Frank's family and friends.
Rest in Peace Frank.

Frank was a good businessman and a great restaurateur. I spent many hours eating is fare and quaffing his lagers and ales. I miss his greeting when visiting his establishment. I will always remember his hospitality and appreciation for my business. Rest in Peace, Frank.

My good friend Frank,
I would like to send out a special prayer for all of your family, and friends, and especially you, in this time of passing. You were indeed one of a kind. It was truely a pleasure and a great joy, to have known you, and been able to work with you.
From the time I started working with you, and for the passed 30 years, I have many great memories to charish and share with friends and family, You were like a father to alot of the kids that worked for you and we all will miss you deeply.
Frank always had the way of going around to all the people in the rest. and talking to everyone. No matter how rich or poor a person was he would treat everyone with dignity and respect, and always make everyone feel like they we special, which they were to him.
Frank gave the community a great place to dine, and on occasion a place to see celebrities from time to time. He was admired and love by a lot of people, and I am no exception, I will miss you, but never forget you.
Love you with all my heart,
Bart Williams
