Gary, I will always remember the great times we had together since junior high school. You were the MOST POPULAR guy who transcended all the different clicks & crowds LOVED by EVERYONE. I wish our plans of you visiting me in Tokyo came true. Such a tragedy. Rest in Paradise my very old friend, see you when I get there. I won't forget the Ozzy tickets.

Some of the most exciting times of my youth was when I was riding on the back of your dirtbike. Especially the ride up that very vertical hill that we of course did not make and I have the scar on my leg still to prove it. But because of you I still love dirt bikes and motorcycles. YOU were born to ride and I know you would not have been happy without a motorcycle they were made for you and you for them. And just as you were made to ride Dave Giest was made to race hot rods and now I hope you both can reunite once again in the beautiful place that you are now .xxxxxxxxx

So glad we caught up recently. You were such a ham Gary. Many good and terrifying memories with you on the back of your bike. And I'm So happy we spoke about the deeper more important things in life. You definitely got it. You looked inside a person to see their beauty. You we're a true friend and I will never ever forget you. My heart breaks knowing you are gone from this earth but I believe you are in Heaven. Darn I'll miss your sarcasm and straight forward honesty.

I remember so clearly a kid from Highschool who always had a smile for everyone he'd meet. Always keeping things light. Haven't seen Gary since, but his face is vivid in my mind. May God keep him forever in his comfort and his glory. Rest in peace Gary.

Gone way to young and soon! I know we didn't know each other while in school since I am a bit younger, but got to know you through FB. You were such a great n funny person. I am so glad that you reached out to me on Facebook these past years. We weren't really friends back in the day but we ran in the same circles and I always thought you were such a nice guy. Gary, out families grew up together in Syosset. We knew each other since we were little kids. We went thru the schools together and our parents were great friends. It was great when you started to hang out with my firings and became part of our group. We had some wild times. Some we shouldn't even mention. But I'll always remember you for your smile and sense of humor. Although the time out some distance between us we kept in touch they social media and I am great fun for knowing you and your family. May you rest in peace but you and I know your not resting but your actually tearing up the heavens with Dave and Rob. I'll miss you but I'll always remember you. Thanks for being my friend. N

You sometimes do not realize how someone touches your life until it's too late. It is quite obvious Gary had such a large impact on so many lives. From HB Thompson, Midway, Camp Sureka and so much more, Gary was the smiling face throughout it all.

Gary you left a big void in all of our hearts your mama and two baby kitties are doing great they ate for the first time today and are getting bigger every day they taken over your room and the mama cat misses you terribly along with the fellows that live there with you ....everyone is heartbroken and all your little kitty that are outside or just sitting and waiting there for you they are being fed and taken care of I hope you're looking down on all of us with a big smile rest in peace my friend miss our daily conversations so sad
