17 years later, I miss you every day and would give anything to have just one more day with you. I hope and pray that my wife and kids remember me as fondly as we all remember you. I would consider my life a success if I became half the man that you were. I miss my Corvette, not so much the car, but more for the copilot. I love you, much more than I ever showed or told you. Until we meet again......Love Steve.

Dear Mary and Family,
We are sorry about your recent loss of a husband and father. George was truly a character and we will cherish all the memories we have of him in the culdesac, at our gatherings, and just sitting on Rob's tailgate. We will miss seeing him and hearing his unique laugh. Please know that you can call us whenever you need our support and help.
Sincerely, The Galpin Family

George was not a father in law to me-he was my daddy and I will miss him greatly!

We have known George and Mary for over 30 years, watched Ken, Steve and Jill grow up and have families of their own. So many great times with George were both enjoyable and funny. Even though we were separated for the last few years, both of you were in our thoughts and now our prayers. We will miss you George.

Mary,
Nancy and I send you and your family our most sincere sympathies in this time of such heartbreaking loss. You and George were among our first friends in Florida back in those early days of the close knit J-58 group. George was one of my respected mentors. We all shared a common pride in the work we did then and though out our entire careers. I can reflect on so many wonderful memories of the times spent socializing with our friends and colleagues in back in the late sixties and early seventies. We will keep George in our prayers.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. George was a wonderful friend, a brilliant engineer and above all a good and decent man who truly loved his wife and his family. We will all miss him terribly.
