Giovanna GABERT Obituary
Giovanna "Joan" Gabert, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015, surrounded by family. She is survived by husband Robert, sister Mary Barry, daughter Lauryl Guse and partner Danita along with son Robert Gabert and wife Gail. Joan also has two grandchildren Greg Gabert and wife Jessica, Jenna Gabert and great-grandson Evan. Joan had an incredible career as a hairdresser and owned salons in Milwaukee and Palm Beach. In addition throughout her 40 year career, she previously was the National Style Director for L'Oreal of Paris and served on the board of directors of Inter Coiffeur, a prestigious international salon owner organization. She and Robert resided in North Palm Beach and Acapulco, Mexico where they had many long time friends. She and Robert both served as past presidents of American Navy League, Acapulco and spent much time raising monies for the underprivileged in the area. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday February 15th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Seamark Condo Club House located at 370 Golfview Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
