Gloria Cartwright Obituary
Palm Beach - With great sadness, the Cartwright family announces the passing of our matriarch, Gloria Keel Cartwright. She transitioned on the evening of May 11, 2021. She was a loving and dutiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, educator, congregant, and friend.
Gloria was born in West Palm Beach on March 4, 1946, to the late Mary and Leo Keel. Gloria is survived by John Cartwright, her husband of 55 years. Gloria's memories will be lovingly carried on by her daughters Carla Yvette Cartwright and Traci Cartwright Boysaw (Bryan), and her grandchildren Bryan, Jr., and Jonathan. She is also survived by her brothers Marvin Keel (Gretchen), Alonzo Keel, and Ronald Keel; and her lifelong friends Delores Keel Daniels, Margaret Mobley, and Delores Walker. She leaves a host of nephews, nieces, friends, former co-workers, and students.
A visitation will be held at Schuler's Memorial Chapel on May 20, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The family is holding a private homegoing service for family and close friends.
Instead of flowers, the family prefers a use of funds that is more in keeping with the mission of Gloria's life. Please make tax-deductible donations to the Trustbridge Foundation of Palm Beach County and Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Gloria Cartwright's name.

As Gloria’s classmate, I will always remember her beautiful laugh in school. She was a joy to be in class with. She kept her beautiful smile & personality throughout her life. The last time I saw her was at the Ritz Beauty Salon & she, again, had me in stitches. My condolences to her family,
