Gloria DeVito Obituary
Jupiter - Gloria VanHorn DeVito affectionately known as "GIGI" of Jupiter, FL passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Gloria was born in Duluth, MN to Gladys Irene Beaulier and Ernest G. VanHorn. Gloria was a graduate of Denfield High School.
Gloria DeVito was a City Elected Official for many years. Gloria was a Board Member Alderman in the City of Waterbury, CT. She was a Zoning Board Commissioner, a member of the Urban Renewal Committee; elected twice as the Chairman for the Board of Education, the President of Bunker Hill PTA, a member of D.A.R and a member of the May Flower Society. Gloria was also a licensed nurse and a real estate broker.
Gloria is preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph DeVito of 70 years, her daughter Gloria Rado and son-in-law Keith Bedard.
Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters: Linda Bedard, Jacquline (Richard) Prentice, Raffaele (John) Racki and Violet (Carey) Dix; son-in-law: Danny Rado; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Memorial service will be held for Gloria VanHorn DeVito on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM in Port St Lucie, Fl at Bell's Funeral Home and Cremation Services 7091 S US Highway 1 Port St Lucie, FL 34952.
