Harold STEINER Obituary
Harold Steiner passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was 82 years old. Harold was born in the town of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on June 15, 1934. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Sylvia Steiner. Harold is survived by his wife, of 58 years Susan Steiner, his son David, his wife Wendy and their children- Michael(his wife Sari) and Jonathan (his wife Alison and son Noah); and his son Jeffrey, his wife Tina and their children- Brittany, Samantha and Julie. His effect on his two grandsons was evidenced by their respect, honor and love for him. They went out of their way to spend quality time with him on a regular basis. He spent his life doing for his family and doing the right thing for all whom he interacted with. Harold Steiner was an absolute sincere and honest man who thrived in business due to his "common sense" and self-motivation. He did not seek attention, was very comfortable in his own skin, did what he said and said what he meant, did not need external material items to be personally happy, was not overly modest or boastful, and held family to be the most important aspect of his life. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest passion was helping and guiding others. Harold made his own music and we miss him here at Allegro! We loved Harold, his funny personality and even his stubborn ways. He was a sweetheart and the staff here including myself felt heavy hearts when hearing the news. We send our sincere condolences to Susan, David and Jeffrey. So many fun and fine memories of Mr. Steiner. We met on a three day cruise to the bahamas and became fast friends with Harold and Sue after that. We've been separated by geography for many years, so we haven't seen each other as much as i would have liked. I don't think you can say anything finer of a guy other than he was a wonderful friend, fun to be around, and always there for you when you needed him. I will miss him.
