I am sorry I could not be there, but you were in my thoughts.Harry was a great brother and a great man all around. There will never be another man like him.I never meet anyone that did not like him.As kids everyone wanter to be around him.He always had friends that would do anything for him and he would do anything for you.He was just a great person. He was always there for his wife and kids.He love them all so very much and they were there for him too. They were a great team. There will never be another Harry like my brother. Now he is a angel like he was down here, but he is up there now to watch over you down here.I love him and I will always love you Harry,You are my big brother and now you are with our litter brother.I know he will never hurt again,But I know we are all hurting because we lose a great man that we love.

The "Bird Man" of Van Gogh Way. Harry would let my children come over to look at all his birds. He even was so kind to give some to them away and let them raise their own.
I enjoyed our talks together as a neighbor and friend. Great man and a great family. Much love! Lee

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

There are so many great memories that I have of Harry. He always made folks smile and his quick wit and laugh was always one of the things I enjoyed most about him. I remember when Ashley was a baby and he gave her a piece of a lemon to taste. Haha. I smile just thinking about it. And when Matt was little and Harry put the live fish in the swimming pool so Matt could try to catch them. He loved the kids....all kids...and they loved him back. Everyone who knew Harry is better for it. He was a great friend who made you feel like family. Some of my fondest memories are the Thanksgivings that we spent with Harry and Rita and the kids. Everyone who didn't have family was invited to be part of theirs. And there were a lot of us! To Rita and the family, my heart goes out to you and my love will always be with you. I hope that time will heal you and the memories will bring smiles to your faces. Harry will be forever in my heart as are all of you. I love you!

I love you Uncle Harry and Aunt Rita! Sorry I couldn't make it down for the service. I'm looking at the old .410 Harry gave me when I was a kid right now.

I will miss Harry's wonderful sense of humor, his smile and of course the gift he had with animals of all kind. He will truly be missed. Rest in Peace!
