HERBERT NISENSHAL Herbert Nisenshal, 90, of Boynton Beach FL, formerly of Sun City West, AZ and Bergenfield, NJ on October 15, 2011. Herbert attended The Cooper Union and New York University graduating with degrees in electrical engineering and marketing. He was a retired marketing manager with Verizon Communications (New York Telephone Co.), and also was a New Jersey licensed Realtor/Broker with Tinghino Realty. He was a US Army veteran having served with the 3358th Signal Service Battalion in Italy. In New Jersey he was a member of the Rockleigh Country Club and was a past Chancellor Commander of the Knights of Pythias Bergen Lodge 170. In Arizona, he was a tax consultant and was a member of the RH Johnson Recreation Club being an avid racquetball and tennis player. He enjoyed travel with his wife having been in almost every country in the world on vacation trips and cruises. Loving husband of 61 years to the late Ida (2005) nee Markowitz. Adored father of Michael of Hackensack, and Belle (Ralph) Sussnow of Boynton Beach, FL. Beloved grandfather of Callie and Jeffrey Sussnow. He is also survived by a sister, Rita Chait of Aventura, FL. Predeceased by his parents, Anne and Harry Nisenshal of North Miami Beach, FL, a sister, Muriel Stone of North Ft. Myers, FL and a brother, Jack of Miami Beach, FL. Services and cremation were private and provided by Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel of Delray Beach, FL. Donations in his memory are requested to your local animal shelter.
