The summer of 1965 was one of my favorites and most of that summer was spent with Dusty, and our small circle of friends - Beetle (Fred) Bailey, John Maine, and Ike Madison. Days at the beach, John's and Dusty's hydroplanes on Lake Worth, all night camp out on our flat roofed apartment, and we all learned to surf on Ike's surf board. We were all one year away from driver's licenses so we walked all over Lake Worth all hours of the day and evenings. It was the summer we constantly listened to the Rolling Stone's "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" and watched "The Man From Uncle". I have never forgotten Dusty's laughter and he was the instigator of a lot our adventures. Sincere and deep condolences to his family.

Dustin & i were band buddies from the 5th through the 9th grade.
High points were practicing [jamming] together after school.
Low points were getting in constant trouble with the conductor for talking too much during class. This culminated in having the conductor throw his baton at me one day.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to his family.
Dusty was my first boyfriend (I was 13) and I was simply CRAZY about him for years.
Although we went our separate ways we stayed in touch most of our lives. He attended my wedding, I attended his. We were great friends.
I am unable to attend the service tomorrow but would like to share some special pictures of Dusty all dressed up in his suit. He was an amazing man. I will never forget his mark on my life.

Caroline and Jamie, I am so sorry about the loss of your father. He always had a special place in my heart. He sent me flowers, daisies, every Tuesday for two years, just because they were my favorite flower. We shared a lot of crazy times, won a lot of money and champaign during the disco era, dancing in contests and most of all shared so many fun and crazy times with the two of you and my daughter, Melissa when you all were young. I saw your Dad a few months ago and we had a great chat. So glad I was given that opportunity. You are all in my prayers. Love you both, Tondra Varnadoe

I remember Dustin quite fondly from high school, Class of '68. He was an exceptional man and left his mark on this earth. May we all be as deserving.

Dustin was my boyfriend in the 8th grade. We remand friends for many years. He put beautiful drapes in my house. I was hoping to see him at the reunion.
