John P. Cappelletti died suddenly at his home at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife of 50 years - Renate and their 45 year old son Jeff. John was born in Brooklyn to Italian immigrants. He relocated his family to Coral Springs, Florida in 1978 after a job promotion and made Florida the family's home. He moved to Boca Raton in 1992 and has since resided in the Santa Barbara community. John was active in the Boca Raton community. He was formerly on the Finance Committee for the City of Boca Raton and was a Board Member at Boca Lago Country Club. The family is planning a celebration of his life in the near future. John will be missed by all.

I worked for John Cappelletti as his secretary for many years. There are no words to describe how I felt about this wonderful man. He wasn't a "boss" - he was family. I will always miss him. My husband passed away 3 years ago and I like to think they are both smiling down and watching me.

I worked as John's secretary for many years. He was the best boss and the nicest man in the world. Working with him was an honor. He left us much too soon! My husband passed away 2 years ago and I like to think that he and John have met in the afterlife and are warching us.

Renate and Jeff, John was the best boss I ever had. I join Lana Rudner is making that comment. I learned more from him about business than I did in grad school. He was a great guy and my thoughts are with you and Jeff. May he rest in peace.
