John DOUGHERTY Obituary
John Francis Dougherty, 86, of Tequesta, formerly of Connecticut, passed away on June 14, 2013. Born in Boston, MA to the late Owen and Catherine (Gillis) Dougherty and raised in Watertown, MA. He was a proud Navy and Army veteran who enjoyed a successful career with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and retired as a Security Specialist. He leaves his wife, Enid (Hanford) Dougherty of Tequesta; daughter, Susan Baroni-Schaeffer of Colchester, CT; step-son, C.B. King of Hampton, VA; step-daughter, Lynette King Gittis of New York, NY; granddaughters, Kate Baroni of Rocky Point, NY and Genna Baroni of Brooklyn, NY; grandson, Chase King of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Lorraine Faith of Hollywood, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, M. Barbara MacLellan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice. Friends may join the family to remember John at the Broadview Condominiums Clubhouse, 100-300 Intracoastal Place, Tequesta, FL., Thursday, June 20 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
