Family-Placed Obituary

KATHERINE MAY JOHNSON GIBBS Katherine May Johnson Gibbs was born on March 5 of 1919 in West Palm Beach, FL. She passed away on September 19, 2011 after a brief illness at the age of 92.She was married to Howard Lang as a young girl and they had one son, James Lang, who died in Vietnam. Later, she married James Gibbs (now deceased) in 1951. They were both Baptized as Jehovah Witnesses in 1954. They lived in Ashbury Park, NJ for a number of years. They relocated to Jacksonville, FL in the early 1960's and then moved to Riviera Beach, FL where they lived for many years. The final years of her life were spent in Port St. Lucie, FL. She is survived by her sister, Georgianna Griffin, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 1 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 4144 Haverhill Road North, West Palm Beach, FL.
