Family-Placed Funeral Notice

KENNETH DALE BARGER “Ken” Age 54 of Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Ken was a Vietnam Veteran who worked as a musician and guitarist in the Charlotte, North Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia areas prior to moving to Florida in 1978. He then began working in the Restaurant industry ending his career with Wendy's as Assistant Manager. Ken is survived by his wife, Georgene; son, Zachary Barger; daughter, Christine Barger; father, Gilbert O. Barger; sister, Susan Marr; brother, David Barger; nephews and other extended family. Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs- Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach, Thursday from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 235 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480 in Ken's memory.
