Kimberly LINDSEY Obituary

LINDSEY, Kimberly

Kimberly Lindsey, 49, of Palm Beach Gardens, died on Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Palm Beach County. She was born April 30, 1964 in Jacksonville, Texas, the daughter of William Lindsey and Betty Jayne (Missy) Stovall. She was the oldest of six siblings, whom Kim essentially raised into her teenage years. She moved to Dallas, Texas where she was raised by her Uncle Mike Traylor and Aunt Sarah. She graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder with BSN in Nursing. She met and married Dr. Albert Lambert while working at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. They went on to live in Missouri and Colorado before settling in South Florida in 1996. An incredible mother, she is survived by her daughters Sarah, 20; Sofia, 18; and Savannah, 16; Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah; siblings, Kelly Gene Lindsey Smith, Brian Stovall, Shane Stovall, and Connie Jayne 'CJ' Carpenter. Ms. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Carrie Chandler. In addition, she leaves behind a community of friends, especially a sisterhood of Weiss School mothers, who found strength in each other's embrace as their children grew. They will long be inspired by her determination and commitment to doing the right thing. A memorial service will be held at Christ Fellowship Church south campus, 5312 Northlake, in Palm Beach Gardens at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 6. A short reception will follow in the Church's Life Center. A trust fund has been established for the support of Ms. Lindsey's three daughters called Daughters of Kim Lindsey Trust. More information is available at daughtersofkimtrust.com. The family and friends thank the local and greater community for their outpouring of support during this very difficult time. Kim, who was a 'Mama Bear' above all else, would be embarrassed by the attention, but very appreciative of the effort to help another person.

While I didn't know Kim, my niece is a student at Bak. I am sending love and prayers to Kim's 3 beautiful daughters and family. May it help in some small way to know that so many are lifting you up in prayer. God Bless you all.

Today will be the hardest day for you three. Also for Kim's Aunt & Uncle and 4 siblings. To all of her family and friends, co-workers and the school children, always hug the ones you love, you never know when they'll be gone. God Speed Kim.
