Lawrence BISCHOFF Obituary
Sunday, March 15, 2015, Lawrence G. Bischoff, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and three daughters at his side. Larry graduated Newark College of Engineering and earned a BA in Civil Engineering. He worked on several large projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersery and New York as a land surveyor and then Contract Administrator. He retired in 1990 to Jupiter, FL and enjoyed golfing with his loving wife Kaye and subsequently moved to Waterford in Juno Beach, FL where they have lived a wonderful life. He was also a proud member of the Class of '49 of James Caldwell High School. Larry was a very devoted friend of Bill W's for 40 plus years and cherished all his friendships he made along the way. He was very active in the Episcopal Church both at St. Peters in Essex Fells, NJ as well as The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tequesta, FL. Larry served as a Lay Reader, Crucifer, Jr. Warden and on the Vestry. Estling Lake in Denville, NJ was another cherished place he held close in his heart and was extremely active. He touched the lives of so many. He is survived by his loving wife Katherine K. Bischoff of 63 years, his daughters Kathy Vegessi, (Michael), Kim Newton, (Jeff), and Pam Bayard, (Bob). He had 6 grandchildren, Serena Schick (Dustin), Rebecca Gagnon (Danny), Tyler, Samantha, Kayla, Bryce and 2 great-grandchildren, Vance Michael and Temperance Rene. Services will be held on Friday, March 20 at The Waterford Auditorium at 1:00PM and The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on Saturday March 21 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, it was Larry's wishes to please donate to a charity you hold close to your heart in his loving memory.
