Family-Placed Funeral Notice
MARK PHILLIP LONG, SR., M.D. Mark Phillip Long, Sr., M.D., age 43, passed away June 15, 2005. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Johnson); loving father of Mark Phillip, Jr.; dearest son of Phillip and Genevieve; dear brother of David (Diane) of Denison, TX, Diana (Scott) Silk of Boxford, MA, and Joseph (Nancy) of Strongsville, OH; uncle of 16; great-uncle of two. Mark was a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Ohio State University where he graduated Medical School in 1988. He was the Chief Resident at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL in 1990 and continued to practice family medicine in Florida for 15 years. Currently he practiced family medicine at the Canton VA Outpatient Clinic in Canton, OH. Arrangements by Tomon and Sons Funeral Home, Middleburg Hts., OH 440-243-6111.

Mark was my best friend when we were kids, from ages 8 to 12, until my family moved out to CA. We played basketball together and hung out together constantly. I remember going to his big brother Dave's basketball games at Midpark High, where my Mom taught. Very fond memories of Mark and his entire family. RIP my friend.
