Martha L. Calais, 82, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 in the presence of family and friends. Martha was a special woman who brought joy to everyone she encountered, she was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Loving on her family and friends was always priority number one to Martha and priority number two was picking those darn weeds that just seemed to grow so abundantly in her back yard. She also doubled as an inn keeper for anyone who ever needed somewhere to live or just needed a break from the troubles of the world that existed outside of her jungle oasis of a home in cabana colony. The world was truly blessed to have had Martha in it and as a result of the love that she gave to the world it seemed to return the favor in her final days. The great news of a new baby soon to join her family brought both joy and her two grandchildren that live in New York and California into town, allowing her to see all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the week prior to her passing and that joyed her to no end. Additionally, on her last day she was surrounded by many of her loved ones and suiting for such an amazing women her last words were "I Love You". Martha passed away peacefully while holding the hands of both of her daughters, a grandchild and a family friend who called her Mom. Truly a special exit for a special lady!!! Martha is survived by her two daughters: Marjo Bittle (Chuck) and Janice Friscia (Vince); five grandchildren: Briana Calzada (Ismael), Nicholas Haas, Chad Bubis (Andrea), Josh Bubis and Sam Bubis and two great-grandchildren: Addison Calzada and Avery Calzada. A Celebration of Martha's Life will be held from 12:00PM to 5:00PM on Saturday, June 18th at Marjo and Chuck's home.
