MURRAY BRASS Age 88 of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Newton and Brookline, MA entered eternal rest on December 3, 2008. Devoted husband for 63 years of Amy (Weidenfeld), beloved father of Sandra Brass, Stephen and his wife Sherry Brass and the late Daniel Brass, dear brother of Mickey and her husband Irving Brem, Dorothy and her late husband Arthur Litwack, adored grandfather of Liza and Don Goss and Donald and Karin Brass, proud great-grandfather of Maya Goss, also cherished by in-laws, Arlene and Moe Weidenfeld, Beatrice and the late Manny Newman and the late Hilda and Nathan Fisher, remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. A WW II veteran, he was the former President of Bell Sportswear Manufacturing Co. For the past 30 years. Murray and his wife, Amy have been involved in volunteering and fundraising. Their endeavors to help build and strengthen programs of Hospice of Palm Beach County, FL led to the building of the Morse Geriatric Center and Lauer Hospice Wing at JFK Hospital, where Murray peacefully spent his last days with dignity. He was recently honored as the first Director Emeritus of Hospice. Services in Massachusetts. Mr. Brass,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
