I never knew Mr. Kromer personally, but his wife's daughter Laura told me what lovely man he was. I want to extend my condolences to Laura, her mother and the rest of Mr. Kromer's family.

My condolences to your family. My father, Paul Kromer, born 6/6/1915 passed away in 1997 in Auburn, NY. My sister Karen lives in Lake Worth and forwarded the link to this Legacy page to me. I don't know if Harthausen, Germany is anywhere near Pforzheim but my grandfather immigrated from there in the late 1800's. Kromer is not a terribly common name there so it may be we are somehow related. I guess that's why I am writing. I almost feel like a family member has passed. I am sorry.
