Family-Placed Funeral Notice

RITA ROSEMARY (O'DAY) ZUENDT Age 87, of Tequesta, Florida formerly of West Hartford, Connecticut passed away Thursday evening, March 18, 2004 in Stuart, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore A. Zuendt; devoted mother of Joan Tonra of Stuart, FL, Ted T. Zuendt of Needham, MA, Carol Bergin of Waterbury, CT and Barbara Overbay of Brookeville, MD. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Elizabeth Zuendt, T.J. Zuendt, John Mark Bergin, Christopher Bergin, Christine Zuendt. Kathleen Bergin, Cailan Overbay and Kelsey Overbay; and a dear family friend, Sr. Patricia McGowan. Mrs. Zuendt was a former member of Tequesta Country Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday March 22, 2004 at the Church of St. Timothy, West Hartford, CT. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. Memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of Martin/St. Lucie, 1201 Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997 in Mrs. Zuendt's memory. Dear family--I was so sorry to hear about your mother. Nancy Nicholson sent me the notice. I know Nancy from her teaching school, and she has kept me abreast of your family. I have so many wonderful memories of all of us on Madison Road. I would love to hear from you. Joan, you especially. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
