My condolences go out to your entire family at this most difficult time. I am the daughter of Berthold and Leona Stern, who was good friends with your mom and Sol in their last two residences in FL. My mom broke down in tears when she just happened to read Rivie's obituary in the Washington Post. You see, she was staying at my home, because my dad passed away on Thursday and your mom passed away on the day of my dad's funeral. Rivie was only 1 of 2 people that my mom wanted to call when she returned to her home today. If you want to reply, my dad's information is listed under Sol Levinson's funeral home in Baltimore.
In closing, I just wanted to say that I am glad our parents shared such a wonderful friendship while in Florida and my brother and I are glad that we had the privilege of knowing your parents, also.

With heavy hearts,
Sharon Freedman and Jeffrey Stern
