Robert G. Daubert

ROBERT G. DAUBERT 76, passed away August 6, 2003 of complications from Parkinson's disease at Hospice of Palm Beach County. He was a W.W.II veteran, having served in the Air Force as an aerial photographer, where he mapped the battlefields of the Pacific. He was employed by Dana, Inc. as their Florida representative. He came from Woodcliff Lake, NJ in 1954 and resided in Ft. Lauderdale for 35 years. He was an Exalted Ruler of the Ft. Lauderdale Elks Lodge. Upon retirement, he moved to the Florida Keys, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, and lobstering. He was a member of the Lions Club of Key Largo. After moving to Palm Beach County, he renewed his interest in sports cars and was a past president of the Corvette Club of the Palm Beaches. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean, and daughter, Dale Elizabeth of Boynton Beach; son, William (Paula) and grandchildren: Sara and Peter, of Westminster, MD; and nephew, Chet (Patsy) of Tulsa, OK and Lake Worth. Burial will be by the Neptune Society. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a contribution in his name be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., WPB, FL 33407.
