To the Huggins Family:
Mr. Huggins was good man. He and Ms. Lubertha were the parents that kept myself and other neighborhood children in line while our parents worked and when we visited your home, reminding us of our manners. They also made sure that we were involved in activities outside of the neighborhood and provided tranportation if we needed it. That act helped our parents to see the necessity of keeping us involved in something positive. It is also something that I continue today with my own children. This is a time of celebration; he has wonderfully fulfilled his duties on this earth. God has said, "Job well done. Now it is time to continue your good works in heaven."
Be strong and carry on; that is what Mr. Huggins would want. May the Lord strengthen you and keep you during this time of bereavement.
In God's love to you all,
The Evans family

Life is so fragile. May your memories of Samuel's generosity, steadfast love, loyalty, forgiveness, special times and unexpected "little things" remain in your hearts and bring you comfort and peace.
Please know that you are being thought about and cared about during this difficult time. Samuel's expectation would be that you will continue to carry out the legacy he built as you make him proud. Our prayers are for your strength, endurance, stamina, and patience with yourselves.
Sending God's healing mercies,
The Peppers, Raing and Richardson Families

To the family of Samuel E. Huggins, Sr.
It is with deepest sympathy that I have to write this regret as I am the sister-in-law of Samuel. I will truly miss him as he was more of a brother than brother-in-law, but with God's help we will all make it. So, family hang in there and God will do the rest.
