Samuel RIVERA Obituary

RIVERA, Samuel "Sammy"
Sammy went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2016 at home. He was born June 2, 1987 in Belleville, NJ. Sammy lived in Waretown, NJ before moving to West Palm Beach in 2008. Sammy was an avid sports enthusiast and an extremely talented hairdresser, having worked in Palm Beach at Salon Margrit for the past seven years. Sammy is survived by his loving and devoted grandparents Larry and Barbra Larsen of Waretown, NJ, uncles, aunts and cousins, his family at Salon Margrit and his homegroup of eight years, many many friends and his dog "Buddy". Sammy had a kind and generous spirit and was always willing to do anything to help a friend. It was his spirit and beautiful bright smile that would light up a room when he walked in. You couldn't help but love him. Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waretown, NJ with Burial following at Cemetery of Barnegat. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special note of thanks to all of Sammy's friends and clients for their many acts of kindness and generosity.

Dear Barbara and Larry,

Words cannot express how sorry we are for this tragic loss of Sammy..

Our hearts are breaking for you...and with you.

You were the best parents/grandparents any child could have hoped for and he was blessed to have you. We will remember Sammy with a smile and will treasure all the memories he and Michael shared growing up together. We will be thinking of you and praying for you always.

With our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy,
Scott, Cathy, Mike and Tom
