Family-Placed Obituary
SHEPARD LINDENMAN Dr. Shepard Lindenman, age 92 passed away on September 29, 2008 after a one year struggle with cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and after serving in the military as a Captain in the Army Medical Crops he returned to practice dentistry and oral surgery in Queens, N.Y. He retired to Florida and lived in Delray Beach. His wife Selma and his son, Dr. Neil Lindenman preceded him in death in 2001 and 2004. He is survived by his son, Carl and his wife Anny and two step-grandchildren, Kristina and Dianna; his daughter-in-law Tricia Lindenman and his two grandchildren, Heather and Julie and his son Robert and his wife Sherry. He will join his wife in eternal rest at the National Veterans Cemetery in Lantana, FL. Where do I begin? Shep was my father-in-law for 29 years. We shared good times and bad, holidays, and birthdays. He adored his granddaughters as they were growing up and they have many fond memories of visiting with Grandpa Shep even during their college years. He was a kibitzer that could keep me on the phone for an hour at a time, and when I hung up I couldn't recall what we actually spoke about. Shep will be missed.
