Susan Laass Obituary
Boynton Beach - Susan M. Handlin Laass, age 80, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on June 26, 2021, in her summer home at Cape Cod. She was born in Syracuse, New York and graduated from Most Holy Rosary High School. She was married to Edward C. Laass for 43 years. Susan had worked in the medical field all her life, including working the for the executive vice president of Catholic Medical Center in New Hampshire and various positions with Bethesda Health City in Florida. She also started two single senior groups, one in Cape Cod and the other in Florida. Susan was an intelligent, loving person who loved to socialize, read and had many cats over the years. She is survived by her children Deborah S. Bellinger and Edward J. Laass; sisters Sheila Liedka, Sally (Greg) Heidelberger, and Shirley (Tim) Gural; four grandchildren, niece and nephews.
She is predeceased by parents Dorothy & Jack Handlin, her husband Edward C. Laass, and sisters Sandra Schultz Tierson and Sharon Handlin. Contributions can be made in her memory to any local Hospice organization. Arrangements entrusted to Neptune Cremation Service, www.neptunecremationofma.com.
