Susan WEINSTEIN Obituary
Susan passed away suddenly on October 9, 2015. She has been a longtime devoted partner of Michael Fries, beloved daughter of Joyce-Marie and the late Dr. Robert Weinstein, cherished sister to John and the late Linda, and loving Aunt to T.Jay and Mark as well as many close family members including Theodore Lavit, Eugene Wallach, and Adrienne Jacobs. Susan grew up in New York, earned her Masters degree at U of Florida, has lived in Florida for over 30 years where she was a loyal employee to Butler-Schein in animal health. Susan was a passionate animal lover all of her life. She will be extremely missed by all that knew her. Susan's funeral service will be Thursday, October 15 at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL.

It took this long to express my heartfelt sadness for the loss of one of the sweetest humans I have ever known. I looked forward to her visits to my hospital as she was a shining light that walked through my door no matter how bad of a day I was having. She educated me on new products and I couldn’t wait to see and speak with her. She was a friend, a real beauty inside and out and I feel saddened that I didn’t hear of her passing until months later. For some reason I dreamt about her last night and that’s what told me I need to express my feelings and tell everyone how blessed I feel to have known Susan. My condolences to all of her loved ones. My deepest sympathy to Mike and family. Sue was a wonderful person, loved her dogs who were her children and life itself. She and Mike were not only a couple but best friends. Words cannot express how terrible of a loss this is. My thoughts and prayers are with Sue and her family.

I was deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Susan's unexpected passing . She was at my office the week before and brought me a birthday present . We shared October birthdays! She has been a rep for my hospital since she started her career in Florida . She also became a dear friend . Susan was truly an asset to her profession...intelligent, articulate, poised, dedicated, and hard working; but more importantly, she was a wonderful human being-thoughtful, kind, patient, generous, honest, and compassionate. I will miss her warm smile,gentle hug, and her very presence in our hospital. She touched so many lives . I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Michael and to her family .

To all of Susan's family, friends and co-workers,
We offer our condolences to all of you. Susan was a fantastic person, and helped us out more often than I can ever remember. She did all this - for us and I am sure others - and yet we never met face to face. I still have the photos posted of her dogs in their year after year Halloween costumes. Her love for the animals and her family will not cease with her passing.
We just want to let you know that there is a large group of us who will miss her. We are all saddened that her life was cut so short. I am sure she has been accepted into the joys of afterlife, and will look after her family from up above.
When you sit shiva or remember her in whatever way you desire, toast her life and the living she did. Remember all the good times and the little things she would do for you. In those memories she will be immortal.

I am shocked and saddened by Susan's passing. She was always so full of life. I have had the pleasure of calling her friend since 1986. And I will miss her regular visits to our practices each Wednesday.

I came to know Susan through being a customer at ButlerShein Animal Health, and since then I have found her to be a very helping, dedicated, intelligent and patient individual. I sincerely offer my condolences to her immediate family, relatives, friends and colleagues on her sudden passing.

We're still trying to get our heads around this. We saw Susie at our hospital last week, and as usual - her smile lit up the entire waiting room. No matter how badly your day was going, you just couldn't help but smile back. After we concluded business, we sat back and relaxed as was our custom, and swapped stories about our pets, and the ups and downs of our families and life in general. Susie was our representative, and helped to start and maintain our practice since 88, but she was so very much more. She was a most valued friend and confidant, and we looked forward to her visits. Susie - you will be missed! - and to her immediate family and Michael - of whom she spoke often and fondly - please know that she made our day better just by walking through the door. A more fitting tribute to a successful and valuable life I cannot write.

Oh so sad and my heart goes out to all her family. She was a very special person and I loved going to the National meetings and being able to spend time with her. My heart breaks that she was taken way to young.
