Thomas Crowley Obituary
Palm Beach Gardens - Thomas Spencer (Tim) Crowley, Jr., age 72, of Palm Beach Gardens died on February 19, 2021 after a valiant fight against Covid-19. Tim was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1948 to Thomas Spencer Crowley and Margaret Crosswell Crowley. The Crowley family moved to the town of Palm Beach in 1958, and Tim was a member of Palm Beach High's graduating class of 1966. Tim returned to Atlanta later that year to attend Georgia Institute of Technology where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and graduated as a proud "Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech". While attending Georgia Tech, he met his wife of 47 years, Lucy Spurlock Crowley, with whom he raised their three children: Thomas Spencer (Spencer) Crowley III, James Matthew (Jamie) Crowley, and Elizabeth Crowley Sanford. Tim was a General Contractor in Palm Beach County for over 45 years. He and his family attend First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach. Nothing gave Tim more pride and joy than spending time with his 8 grandchildren, whom he lovingly referred to as his "Grands": Thomas, Jackson, Ella, Ava, Gracie, Abigail, Olivia, and Alex.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Peggy and Spencer Crowley, his in-laws James and Elon Spurlock, his brother-in-law Claude Leonard (Len) Davis, and his brother-in-law, James Patrick (Toby) Hill. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Spurlock Crowley, his sons Spencer Crowley (Nickelle) and Jamie Crowley (Natalie), his daughter Elizabeth Crowley Sanford (Lenny), his siblings Margaret (Mot) Davis, Helen (Skeet) Fischer (Pat), Michael Crowley (Teresa), and Elizabeth (Tuny) Hill, his brother-in-law Jim Spurlock (Sherran), his cherished grandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Because of safety concerns arising from Covid-19, the immediate family will hold a small private ceremony at First Presbyterian Church of NPB on March 7. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation, www.cncfhope.org OR www.Stopchildrenscancer.com.

I just learned of Tim´s passing earlier this year. Tim and I were fraternity brothers at Georgia Tech and shared many good times together. Tim was in my wedding, and I was in his wedding. Patty and I send our sincerest condolences to Lucy and all the family.

I was very sorry to hear about Tim's passing. We were neighborhood and school friends, and teammates, through high school, but had little contact recently. Tim was a good friend, a talented athlete, and an all around good guy. He had a fun and loving family when I knew him. I know he was dedicated to his much expanded family. My deepest condolences to Lucy and all of his family.
