NOLAN, Thomas J.
Thomas J. Nolan, of Jupiter, passed away March 5, 2017. Tom was born February 24, 1927. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Nolan of County Clare and Queens County Ireland, respectively. Tom is survived by four children, Leslie Bonnell, Cindy Hall, Tom S. Nolan, Maryanne Nolan, brother-in-law Charles Hagee, cousin Peggy Cunnane and several grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Tom was pre-deceased by his parents and sister, Theresa Hagee. Since 1991, Tom has lived in Jupiter, Florida where he spent several years as a volunteer at Jupiter Medical Center, emergency room. Tom was a Marketing Executive and retired from IBM Corp in 1987. Tom traveled extensively. He enjoyed learning about and experiencing different culture's, people and food. Tom attended and graduated with an MBA from Drexel University in 1954. Tom joined the Navy in 1945 after graduating from St. Thomas Moore High School. Tom's memorial and scattering of ashes service will be on March 25 at Sailfish Marina, 98 Lake Drive, West Palm Beach (Singer Island), FL 33404. The service will be at 9:30AM on the Carpe Vita vessel. The launch for the scattering of ashes will be around 10:30AM, returning around 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to West Palm Beach Veteran Affairs Medical Center and sent to West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service (135), 7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410. All donations are used to support direct patient/Veteran needs.
