Thomas SUMMERS Obituary
Tommy Summers, age 55, passed away September 3, 2013 in Harrison, Arkansas. Tommy grew up in West Palm Beach and lived the last several years in Harrison with his sister, CeCe. Tommy loved the ocean, boat building, diving the Boynton Inlet and lobster diving in the Keys. Everyone has many stories to tell of Tom and he will be deeply missed by all. Tommy was predeceased by his father, William E. Summers. He leaves his beloved mother, Lillian Summers; siblings, Ceceilia Feroe (Page) of Harrison, AR; Gloria Hapke (Kevin) of Pittsburgh, PA; MaryAlyce Outlaw (Barry) of Andalusia, AL; Mark A. Summers of West Palm Beach and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Burial at sea will be planned in October with a Celebration of Life to follow.

We will be having a Memorial at Sea for Tommy on October 19th @ 1:45pm leaving out of American Yachting Center, US #1, Hypoluxo, FL on the "Southern Comfort"

Tommy was a friend many years ago and the group of us from Palm Beach Boat Builders had great times together especially on our sailing trips. Tommy always had on a smile and was so much fun to be with. He would light up the group. I will always remember his happy and free spirit.

Tommy was my best friend growing up in WPB, Fla. I've known him since we were in elementary school and did some really crazy and stupid things. But somehow we survived. I know he's at peace now and will be watching all of us as our journeys continue. You were a good friend Tommy and I will miss you.
