Tiffiny Blockson-Johnson, 32, of Fort Meade, MD formerly of Lake Worth, FL passed quietly on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from multiple organ failure. Tiffiny was born August 30, 1981 in East Cleveland, OH to Chief Paul and Carla Blockson. The Blockson family relocated to Lake Worth, FL where Tiffiny graduated from Lake Worth Community High School in the Class of 1999. Tiffiny traveled the world from Japan to California as a proud Air Force wife for the last 12 years. Her family was her life. She loved to cook and was often called upon to offer culinary advice to all throughout the family. She passed away before fulfilling her passion of compiling a collection of family recipes which would eventually be published into a cookbook. Tiffiny is survived by her devoted husband of 12 years, Staff Sergeant Gabriel Johnson and their two precious and adorable daughters, 2 year old London and 5 year old Sydney. She is also survived by her loving and dedicated parents, Chief Paul and Carla Blockson of Lake Worth, FL; her brothers, Paul Blockson, IV of Shrevesport, LA, Jeremy (Tiffany) Blockson of Orlando, FL; her sisters, Dr. Laquita Blockson of Charleston, SC, Erika Gregory of Cleveland, OH and Yvonne (Nate) Belcher of West Palm Beach, FL. She also leaves her grandmother, Mary James of Akron, OH, mother-in-law, Mildred Johnson of Augusta, GA, brothers-in-law, Walter Johnson of Aiken, SC, Jeffery Johnson of Atlanta, GA and her sister-in-law, Valeria Johnson-Collins also of Atlanta, GA, a host of aunts and uncles, a crowd of cousins, a cadre of nieces and nephews and a clan of loving and supportive friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Blockson's home located at 1802 Pierce Drive, Lake Worth, FL 33460. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tiffiny's honor to For The Children, Inc. Early Childhood program, an educational non-profit organization serving Lake Worth and the surrounding communities. It is located at 1718 S. Douglas St., Lake Worth, FL 33460. Whenever Tiffiny was at home on vacation, she would visit the center and always volunteer to teach the preschoolers the art of successful cooking.
