Tracy MILBEE Obituary

MILBEE, Tracy Jolly

On December 21, 2012 God called home one of earth?s greatest angels. Tracy Jolly Milbee of Royal Palm Beach was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend who sadly lost her heroic battle with breast cancer. Tracy was born July 22, 1962 in Charlotte, NC, to Ann (Spake) and the late Donald A. Jolly of Asheville, NC. Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Robert W. Milbee, and their son, Benjamin Milbee--the light of her life, as well her mother Ann Jolly, sister Lisa Simpson, best friends Dawn Fresch and Tracy Boles and many, many loving relatives and friends. Tracy spent many years as a Veterinary Tech due to her special love for animals and later discovered she had a greater talent working with special needs children at H.L. Johnson Elementary School. She was an inspiration to teachers, staff and students who were daily amazed by her boundless love for and patience with her students, especially during her courageous 18-month fight with cancer. She never lost her sense of humor or her enduring smile. Tracy easily became a role model of strength and beauty for all who knew her. Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Central Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, FL at 11:00am. A separate memorial will follow at Lutheridge Chapel in Arden, NC.

Found this poem that personifies Mrs. Milbee and our son Ryan's love for her...

When God created teachers, He gave us special friends to help us understand His world and truly comprehend,
The beauty and the wonder of everything we see, and become a better person with each discovery.

When God created teachers, He gave us special guides to show us ways in which to grow so we can all decide,
how to live and how to do what's right instead of wrong, To lead us so that we can lead and learn how to be strong.

When God created teachers, in His wisdom and His grace, He helped us learn to make our world a better, wiser place.

Our Heartfelt Thanks to Mrs. Milbee for Being One of These Special Teachers! Our Sincere Condolences and Sympathies to her Family and HL Johnson Elementary School!!

Tracy was one of the most positive, upbeat people I've ever met under ANY circumstance. She saw positive in everything. I will always remember sitting watching baseball games with her and how she just glowed whenever Ben was up or made a play! Heaven has gained our earthly angel in Tracy. May your family find peace knowing she will always be with you.
