WILLIAM F. BONGIORNO Passed away November 10 at the age of 89, William F. Bongiorno former resident of Bedford, Massachusetts and a 20 year resident of both Deltona and Jupiter, Florida. Survived by his wife Elna of 65 years, his daughter Frances and husband Kevin M. Looney, granddaughter's Deborah and husband Randy Patterson, Pamela and John Henthorn of Jupiter, grandson Jonathon Bongiorno of Oregon and great grandchildren Randy, Tyler, Connor, Brittany and Cameron. A decorated WW11 veteran serving with the 9th. Infantry Division seeing action in 8 campaigns, leaving from England through North Africa, Sicily, Belgium, France and Germany. A 55 year continuous member and past commander of the American Legion and VFW and past National President of the 9th Infantry Division Association. A member of the United States Army baseball team at Ft Bragg, past president of the Lexington Grid Iron Club and Grand Marshal of the Patriots Day parade in Lexington, MA.
