I am so sorry to hear this. As a close friend of Toot's I have known Billy for many years. He could bring a smile to everyone's face whenever he walked into a room. I am so thankful I was able to be in Florida for his 60th birthday party. Rest in peace dear Billy.

I grew up with this family and was Always a delight to see Billy and his Great Smile along with a Bear Hug!! I first met Billie on the school bus when we were 13. He had long hair behind his ears and I loved his hair. I also loved that amazing dimpled smile. You could talk to him without words, he just seemed to understand, he was my brother. The Hartig family welcomed everyone, they all have such big hearts and I know this it a bitter loss. Billie made everyone feel special and he will be greatly missed. Love Norman and Janet Kerans

Billy was taken from us all too soon. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. Billy was a great, loyal friend to everyone. He loved his family and friends so much. I am so saddened that we will not see his smiling face or get one of his great bear hugs anymore, in this lifetime. God needed another angel, which he got in Billy. We will all meet up again and he will be there to welcome each one of us, ready to give us one of his famous bear hugs. Billy I know that you are watching from above and that you know that we love you very much. Goodbye, for now, my friend.
