WILLIE MAE CAULEY IVERSON Age 98, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2009. Mrs. Iverson was born October 20, 1910, in Chauncey, GA. She lived most of her life in West Palm Beach, FL, and was a resident of Asheville, NC since April 2006. She was the widow of Raymond Jacob Iverson. Surviving are her sister, Essie C. Verner of Weaverville, NC; nieces and nephews, Nonie Cauley of West Palm Beach, FL, Donald and Carol Cauley of Hephzibah, GA, Garry and Belle Cauley of Rantoul, IL, Theresa and Tim Ferry of Loxahatchee, FL, Judy and Bill Knighten of Weaverville, NC, Bob and Marilyn Verner of Honolulu, HI, Steve and Rena Verner of Asheville, NC, Anna Iversen of Long Island, NY, Betty Fedje of Bandon, OR, twenty-four great nieces and nephews, forty-two great-great nieces and nephews, and four great-great-great nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 7, at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach, FL, with Pastor Vic Willis officiating. Family and friends will visit in the Courtyard following the service. Aunt Willie we are going to miss your loving heart,caring hands and gentle voice. We can only pray to live our lives to the fullest as you have done and touch other hearts as you have. You are going to be dearly missed. Christmas is never going to be the same without you and your lemon bars.

I worked with Mrs. Iverson for many, many years. She was a wonderful woman, truly a mentor to all who knew her. She called me on my birthday, again this year. What an amazing memory! I've always been in awe of this woman. I pray that I can be as kind, loving, thoughtful, and generous to others as she was to me.
Family, how blessed you are to have been her relative! There will be lemon bars in heaven!
