Yovy Jimenez Obituary
Suarez left her home at 7 p.m. for a jog and, after her family later reported her missing, was found in a canal.
Suarez was the first person killed by an alligator in Broward County, and only the 18th in the state since the fish and wildlife commission started keeping records in the 1940s.

Oh I remember working real estate with Yovy back in 2003-2004, she was like a big sister to me. I remember how much she loved her sisters, mom and her bichon frise!!! Yovy had a smile that could brighten up a room. I left to North Carolina in 2004 when I got married, Yovy and I kept in contact for about 6 months after that. I moved back to Florida May 2nd, 2006 and I wanted to find her and let her know I was back. When I heard the news I was in shock, hurt and so concerened about her family as Yovy was oh so close to them. I think about her all the time, her beauty, her smile, her friendship. You will always be missed. God bless.
