JIM ED TALBERT Jim Ed Talbert, 55, passed from this life June 23, 2024. He was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on April 15, 1969 to Sue Carroll and Eddie Talbert. He was raised in Mineral Wells and graduated from Mineral Wells High School. He was self-employed and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Jim Ed was known as a gentle giant, treating everyone with kindness and respect regardless of race, creed, or color. He will be missed by all who ever knew him. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo Talbert, her children Josie, Rowdee, and Cooper Maxwell, and grandchildren Ashton Siegel and Raelynn and Raven Vallance, his parents, Sue Overton and husband Neal, Eddie Talbert and wife Mona, sister Shauna Bradshaw and husband Wes, a nephew and niece Hagen and Emri Bradshaw, aunts Kathy Tatem and Dana Newman, numerous cousins, and more friends than we have paper for here. He was preceded in death by Emery Fletcher, his grandparents Dan and Corky Talbert and Buster and Dot Carroll, uncle Jimmy Talbert, aunt Linda Moore, and cousins Jim Bob Simpson and Chad Privitt. Services will be held at First United Methodist Church on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 10AM. Visitation will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner on Thursday the 27th from 6-8PM. Interment will be at Sturdivant Cemetary in Mineral Wells, TX Pall Bearers will be Toby Tomerlin, Roger West, Terry Smith, Wes Bradshaw, Randy Ezell, Allen Lowery, David Bean, and Johnathan Wheato
