Barbara A. Unzicker

February 29, 1936 - December 12, 2024

Barbara A. Unzicker, 88, of Normal, formerly of Eureka, died on December 12, 2024 at the Hallmark HealthCare of Pekin.

She was born on February 29, 1936 to the late Joseph and Esther (Heiser) Roth. She married Kenneth Unzicker on February 2, 1957 at the Mennonite Church in Metamora.

She is the sister of Sarah Smucker. She was also an aunt, cousin and friend of many. Barbara was predeceased by her husband and her parents.

Barbara worked as an interior designer. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and lawncare alongside her husband, and together, they were Members of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded by the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home of Eureka, IL. A burial of her urn will be held in 2025 in the Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery Condolences and tributes can be sent to the family at rgoruestmanharrisfuneralhome.com.
