Born in Galesburg, Ill. on August 2, 1957. Daughter to Frank M. Claeys Jr and Peggy L. (Spring) Claeys. She spent her childhood growing up in Bloomington, Ill. She was a proud graduate of Bloomington High School in the class of 1975. She was married to Mark Brittin in May of 1976 in Bloomington, Ill. She lived in Casa Grande, Ariz. before moving back to Bloomington, Ill. and eventually spending her final years in Haltom City, Texas.

Debbie lived her life for her family and friends. She found so much joy in this lifetime and spread that joy everywhere she went. Her biggest joy in life was watching her son, Chadwick, grow into the amazing man that he is today. Hold the memories close to your heart and always remember how proud she was to be your mom. Her smile will never be forgotten <3

I am saddened to read of Debbie's passing, we lived so close and remember all the children in the neighborhood spending hours together .The last time I saw Debbie and her son was in Mesa, AZ. my husband and I were sitting in the Food Court at our local Mall and Debbie recognized us, that was many years ago, but how sweet of her to stop and visit with us. Condolences to the family.

To the Claeys and Brittin families, please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother, Sister and Aunt. Having grown up just behind the Claeys' family home, I spent many a day there, what a great Westside Family! In this difficult time, remember the love and good times that surrounds your families. Peace be with you all.
