COOKSVILLE - Dennis Wissmiller, 85, of Cooksville, passed away at 6:09 a.m., November 22, 2023, at his residence.
Cremation has been accorded. A family graveside service will be held at a later date at Blue Mound Cemetery, Cooksville.
Memorials may be made to Octavia Fire Protection District or donor's choice of charity.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, is in charge of arrangements.
Dennis was born January 7, 1938, in Bloomington, the son of Roy and Dorothy (Lobdell) Wissmiller. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children: Jeff (Sherry Benjamin) Wissmiller of Cooksville, Amy (Bob) Adair of McLean, Chuck Wissmiller of Normal, and Susan Wissmiller of Gilman; grandson, Brad (Rachel) Nichols; great-grandchildren, Maven and Leo Nichols; sister, Judy MacNab of Mequon, WI, and brother, David Wissmiller of Sun City, AZ.
A dedicated farmer and proud graduate of University of Illinois. Dennis was a member of the McLean County Farm Bureau.
