Mildred Delores Price

October 18, 1935 - February 20, 2025

NORMAL - Mildred Delores Price, 89 of Normal, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at home with family by her side.

Delores was born in Bloomington, Illinois on October 18, 1935, the daughter of Andy and Mildred Catherine (Staley) Rolofson. She married James Price on September 25, 1954, in Bloomington, Illinois. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Judy Lay and a son in law Russ Hayden.

She is survived by their five daughters, Cathy (Kevin) Klump, Bloomington, Debbie Hayden, Springfield, Laura (James) Weber, Colfax, Rebecca Price (Jeff Poston) Bloomington, and Graycie Price, Normal. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Lewis.

Delores had a strong Christian faith. She loved taking her daughters to the VFW Patriots Drum and Baton Corp competitions. Delores also loved watching her girls skate at the roller rink. She loved planting flowers, crafting and birdwatching. In her later years along with her husband James they shared sunshine days with their adopted great granddaughter Graycie. The best days were spent with family. Her family was her treasure. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date, and cremation rites will be accorded.
