July 12, 1965 - September 6, 2025
Peggy Sue Miles, 60, formerly of Minonk, Ill., died peacefully at her home in Pontiac surrounded by family and friends on September 6, 2025.
She was born on July 12, 1965 in Pontiac, Ill. to Donald D. and Carmen L. Bachman Miles.
She is survived by her siblings, Larry (Mary) Miles of Minonk, James (Lois) Miles of Bloomington, and Nancy (Tim) Manning of Minonk; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Julie, Mike, Lisa, Angie, Doug and Jamie, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was also a cousin and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Miles.
Peggy enjoyed adult coloring artwork, being a WWE Fan, and following weather patterns, as well as the Royal Family. Her main passion since growing up on a farm has been animals, especially cats. Peggy was a 1986 graduate of Raymond School in Bloomington, Illinois and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Minonk.
Visitation will be Friday, September 12, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 11 a.m., at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk. Burial will follow at Minonk Township Cemetery.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Peggy's Mosaic Home, who were her family too. Thanks also to the caring nurses and aides from Hospice.
