Richard Louis Oncken

July 30, 1933 - Feb. 8, 2024

MINONK - Richard Louis Oncken, 90, of Minonk, died Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Arc of El Paso.

He was born July 30, 1933, on the family farm in Minonk to Louis and Tillie (Lehman) Oncken. He married Donna Mae Volker on August 17, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church in Wenona, IL. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Scott (Kay) Oncken, Kathy (Bob) Jackson, David (Eleanor) Oncken.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial of his ashes will be in Minonk Township Cemetery with military honors at a later date. Richard was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran.

Memorials may be made to American Alzheimer's Association.
